The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the global supply plan. This position will be responsible for managing daily inventory requirements through direct coordination with other functional groups, but not limited to, Logistics, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Marketing. In addition, the Supply Chain Manager will be working closely with sites to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods, assist in demand planning, and provide analysis for key metrics. The Supply Chain Manager will ensure best practices are leveraged in Supply and Inventory Management processes for Global Finished Goods.  This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the supply chain
• Oversee the movement of goods from production to delivery to the end customer
• Assist in demand planning by analyzing customer and market trends
• Work with internal and third-party manufacturers on a routine basis to deliver requested finished goods inventory according to scheduled timeline and quantity requirements. 
• Ensure the adherence to Global Operations standards for Supply Planning and Third Party Manufacturing. 
• Track key performance indicators to monitor and report performance
• Optimize inventory/supply holdings to limit excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring satisfaction of customer orders. 
• Balance inventory requirements to minimize the potential for back-orders.
• Support and participation in the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) through relevant metric reporting and summary of key supply/capacity constraints.

Requirements

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related degree
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• SAP, Kinaxis, Tableau experience is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position in New Jersey is $100,000 - $130,000, plus discretionary performance bonus (based upon eligibility). The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally. Generally work is performed in an office environment.
