Overview

Perform various security and safety functions for the company, conduct routine security patrols around the outside and inside of all company owned facilities. Escort company employees to and from, vault, shipping, production and warehouse while any control products are being transported. Guard against unauthorized person(s) entering company facilities, and presenting any type of threat to company employees. Respond to all reports of suspicious person(s), or vehicle(s) on company property. Ensure the safety of all company employees, and the protection of all company assets, and property. The shift hours are 2pm-10pm.  This is an armed security position.

Requirements

• Conduct security patrols around the outside perimeter of all company owned buildings.
• Checking all entry points to premises and ensuring they are locked and secured.
• Perform security checks inside of all company owned buildings. Addressing any security or safety issues that are observed.
• Prepare security logs, and reports identifying any security or safety violations.
• Assist the Head of Security with any investigations, and or special details.
• Ensure that all reports and logs are submitted to the Head of Security in a timely manner
• Maintain all security equipment (flashlights, radios, etc.…) in good working order.
• Identify any potential security or safety hazard, document and report same to the Head of Security.
• Checking and Verifying all employees are following guidelines and regulations as laid out by Health and Safety Guidelines

Qualifications

• Currently possess a NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA II) License
• Currently possess a NJ Permit to Carry a Handgun License
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3-4 years of Professional Security Experience
• Ability to comprehend and utilize the English language, written and verbal
• Reliable transportation
• Available to work Flexible shift schedule, weekends and holidays
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred).

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $52,000 to $58,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally. Generally, work is performed in a combination of a corporate and manufacturing environment.
