Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of twelve commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities

Role Summary

Sr. Financial  Analyst responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to prepare and analyze financial
information, to prepare accurate and timely reporting to Corporate and Internal Local Management. Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are followed. Expected to work cross-functionally to develop and implement methodologies and practice to achieve compliance and maintain financial statements and related accounting documents. Also, will utilize his/her knowledge of technical accounting matters in accordance with UGAAP to effectively and efficiently perform Close, consolidation and reporting of financial statements of US entities along with all US subsidiaries.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accounting – Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Lead all review and reconciliation of Lupin’s North American financial information for local statutory management reporting, as well as the required reporting to Global Headquarters.
  • Work alongside the teams responsible for the accounting treatment of operational accounting transactions related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual close calendar and manage tasks to completion with prescribed deadlines
  • Maintain relationships with external audit staff and support various aspects of the audit.
  • Preparation of more complex account reconciliations and monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations prepared by global service teams in India.
  • Documentation of the various systems & process enhancements.
  • Maintains accounting controls through the maintenance of the Chart of Accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

 

  • Certified Public Accountant required with 2-4 years of related GL accounting and financial with Bachelors in Accounting.
  • reporting experience required, cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and determine creative
    solutions to accounting issues
  • Knowledgeable of U.S. GAAP, , and other accounting and reporting standards.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally
    and in writing, with all levels of management and staff and with outside parties as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain financial controls and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Public accounting experience is plus but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and Excel
