  • Overview

    Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position is responsible for the upkeep and general cleanliness of the entire Lupin Somerset site, with a goal of providing a comfortable space for employees while meeting all sanitation requirements. This role interacts with a diverse group of employees at all levels of the organization and requires integrity, professionalism, and customer service skills. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various situations, at times modifying work processes to accommodate customer needs.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Tidies offices, conference rooms, and waiting areas, daily as needed
    • Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures
    • Cleans and sanitizes toilets, countertops, and sinks
    • Keeps bathrooms and kitchen areas stocked with various supplies; including but not limited to, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, coffee, and other supplies
    • Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen and eating area
    • Cleans mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces
    • Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and/or polishes floors and staircases (as needed)
    • Empties trash receptacles and disposes of waste
    • Monitors cleaning supplies and informs supervisor if more is needed
    • Vacuums and cleans carpets and rugs
    • Reports any necessary repairs or replacements
    • Participates in outdoor cleanup, as needed
    • Assists other team members with their duties, if needed
    • Exemplifies Lupin’s core values through conduct, decision-making, and all forms of communication
    • Other duties and tasks as it applies to effectively handle above listed responsibilities.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • 1 year of housekeeping experience (preferred)
    • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and/or the willingness to learn how to use cleaning equipment
    • Reliability

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
